About Me
My Big Three in astrology are Aquarius Rising, Cancer Sun, and Capricorn Moon—a trio that paints a complex portrait of who I am.
I was born under the beams of a full moon, with my Capricorn Moon in the 12th house, tucked away in a cadent position and in detriment. These placements are often late bloomers—requiring time, pressure, and deep reflection to fully emerge. In this lifetime, I’ve been both blessed and burdened with the task of focusing on these hidden realms.
Though quiet, my Moon is potent. It works in the shadows, unlocking my subconscious and helping me channel an imagination that feels almost unhinged—in the best way. Ideas, images, and insights bubble inspiring me to create.
As a night chart, I feel more connected to my Moon than my Sun. The Cancer Sun may shine with warmth and care, but it’s the Capricorn Moon that grounds the vision, shapes the dream, and keeps the magic flowing behind the scenes.
My Venus is in my 5th house, art and creativity has been some of my biggest strengths and joys throughout my life. I am a professional art teacher and was a tattooist for 10 years before I went back for my Masters in education. Creating just to create has always given me solitude and has been my escape. As I have gotten older it has become a bigger focus to do more with what I create and to focus on the details.
In my BA I have had the pleasure and privilege to travel. On my adventures I have been to Germany, Czech Republic, England, and France. In the summer of 2022 I traveled to Iceland (which I like to refer as Bjork Land) with an amazing group of beautiful women. Traveling to me is some of the best education you can get. My future plans include going to Romania in the summer of 2026.
I will be a life long student and being a teacher I get to study and learn new and fascinating things daily. My personal studies focus on astrology, tarot, art, and history. I particularly enjoy the stories of fascinating women and their lives. I lean more toward the feminine persuasions as my natural hand in art is more soft. I enjoy the sumptuous allure of women and the challenges many had to circumvent in the past and now. I do admit that I struggle with creating masculine figures. I will discuss that more with the creating of my second tarot deck which I do not exclude the masculine. Both the masculine and feminine are equal and needed in the world.
My Venus trines my Pluto in the 9th so I am not surprised that these subjects are a passion of mine along with traveling.
Even with my inclination to travel and random road trips, I do consider myself a home body and enjoy the cozy comforts of my house, my pets (4 cats and a dog), and my front porch. In the summer you can find me and my familiar (which happens to be a 3 legged chihuahua beagle) painting on the porch and enjoying the steaming heat of summer.
